IBM builds customized employee apps

In an attempt to create a more social and virtualized operating environment, IBM is seriously investing in building customized mobile apps for its employees. For example, IBM launched a suite for iOS and android which allows an IBMer find and connect with other employees anywhere across the world. A company spokesperson commented that these are part of the company’s efforts to take social media to the next level of evolution and increase productivity of employees.
