The Centre of Indian Trade Union has criticised TCS for its recent layoffs where thousands of mid-level jobs have been impacted. The statement released by CITU states that the layoffs were uncalled for, as the company had done well in the books recently. The Regional Joint labour Commissioner has called for a stakeholder meeting recently.
