Myntra, an Indian fashion e-commerce marketplace headquartered in Bengaluru has appointed Jeyandran Venugopal as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Venugopal has replaced Ajit Narayan who has resigned from the company. 

Venugopal has over 18 years of experience and has worked with Snapdeal as a technology advisor and was a part of the executive leadership team at Yahoo R&D division. He has completed his MS in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois.

Reported in media, Myntra chief executive officer Ananth Narayanan said,” Jeyandran joins us at a crucial phase when Myntra is treading firmly on its path to profitability. We have always laid emphasis on having a strong leadership and his appointment brings that to the fore. Jeyandran has to his credit, years of experience in the field of technology, with a proven track record that further reinforces our commitment to provide unmatched service to our customers.

Venugopal is also the Founder and CEO of Eclinic247, a consumer healthcare startup which is leveraging the power of Technology and Analytics and the Mobile penetration in India to radically reimagine the Primary Healthcare paradigm in India.
