Harish Manwani mentoring future leaders

Just two weeks ago, Harish Manwani, chief operating officer of Unilever, was in Harvard to deliver a talk on building global leaders. Last week, at Hindustan Unilever's corporate office in Mumbai, Manwani again addressed a team of young leaders from India's top B-schools as part of the consumer goods giant's yearly Premier-30 League Tree initiative. Close to his retirement as Unilever COO by the end of next month, Manwani, 62, is still taking out time to focus on what he always did well during his 38-year tenure in Unilever: mentoring and grooming leaders.
