Pilot scheme allows staff to 'dial up or down'

Flexible career management has been introduced as a new tool that is particularly important for retaining and engaging staff as the economy recovers. It allows employees to “dial up” or “dial down” their professional life depending on their individual priorities. Dialing down means an employee can take career breaks or adopt more flexible hours, whereas dialing up means taking on an additional workload or moving to a different location. This is a “mass career customization” initiative that has been piloted by Deloitte and there is a proper criterion for monitoring it. The pilot has resulted in increased employee satisfaction and has attracted new people in the organization.
