Sustainability management is the Bschool Buzz

The latest buzz in premier B-schools across the country is in the area of sustainability management. India Inc is looking for more managers who can tackle environmental problems, social and human rights issues, developmental economics and corporate social responsibility. Managers are now required to enter a business environment wherein companies display a greater commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). Under the new Companies Act, 2013, profitable companies with a sizeable business have to spend, every year, at least 2% of three-year average profit on CSR projects.
