CBI revamps performance appraisal

The CBI will become the first police organization in India to adopt a modern performance management system. The agency signed a memorandum of understanding with IIM, Bangalore and one of the aspects is to understand and suggest changes in the performance appraisal system. At present, the system is driven by statistics. Among other things that the investigation will look at is traditional ways to measure and award employees.
