E-commerce, MNCs look for people who can devise growth strategies

Swelling investor confidence and a rejuvenated economy have doubled the demand for talent who can devise strategies and chart out growth for companies in India, according to search firms like Amrop, EMA Partners, Michael Page India and Stanton Chase. Indian conglomerates, MNCs, ecommerce and internet-based companies have mandated these firms to scout for talent here, with companies like Godrej, Reliance Industries Reliance Capital, General Mills, Marico, Abbott, among others, either busy building or engaging top talent to accelerate their growth in India. The compensation for these professionals has gone up by almost 30 per cent.
