Global professional services firm, ZS is set to hire over 3,000 employees for its three offices in India. With India being a key market for ZS, the company plans to hire fresh graduates as well as seasoned professionals this year, adding to the current 5,500+ employees in India.

The organization will hire for roles ranging from business consulting to data scientists and technology specialists. Sanjay Joshi, Regional Managing Principal, and Asia Head said, “India is a very crucial region for ZS, as over 65% of our global team comes from the country’s best colleges and professional backgrounds. We will continue our efforts of campus as well as lateral hiring for Bengaluru, Delhi, and Pune.”

Out of the over 3,000 new additions to the company, 30 percent will cater to Business Consulting, 45 percent to Business Technology and 25 percent will work in the Business Operations verticals of the firm.

Joshi added, “given the growth of the firm’s different verticals, ZS ensured that all offers that were rolled out before the national lockdown in early 2020, were in fact, honored and people were onboarded seamlessly from across the country.”

While the firm is yet to decide on a definitive date to return to the office, they are geared up for their hiring plans. ZS has already started off its processes with some of the top management and IT colleges in India. Even during the global pandemic, the company continued hiring and welcoming new team members during the work from the home time period.

She further added, “last year, not only did we honor our 2,000 hires and onboarding, but we also rolled out mid-year and year-end appraisals and promotions in a timely manner. In fact, our year-end cycle yielded the highest number of employees ever promoted in a single cycle.”

In addition, ZS has introduced new policies that cater to the needs of its employees, during the remote working situation. Some of the initiatives include a one-time work-from-home allowance for employees to create a comfortable workspace at their homes and giving out an extra year-end success bonus to celebrate the firm’s success.  The company has also introduced a host of mental and physical wellbeing programs and meeting-free working time to ensure employees’ work-life balance.
