SBI to build its fifth staff training academy in Kolkata

Training and skill upgradation has emerged as an important human resource development activity nowadays as banking becomes more complex with new risk management practices and IT-based financial product offerings.

The country's largest bank said that the Rajarhat facility will be built on 10 acre. This will be the bank's fifth such academy after three in Hyderabad and one in Gurgaon, a senior SBI official said.
