Dennis A. Muilenburg becomes Boeing's new CEO

Muilenburg will succeed James McNerney as the 10th chief executive in the company's history.

On July 1, Dennis A. Muilenburg will become Boeing's new CEO - 30 years after joining the company as an intern. The Chicago-based airplane maker decided to promote from within its ranks with Muilenburg, 51, who currently serves as the company's president, COO, and vice chairman. Muilenburg will succeed James McNerney as the 10th chief executive in the company's history.
