Former Are You In The List winner becomes ETMONEY’s HR Head

An HR professional with over 13 years of experience, Anita Bhatia has joined ETMONEY as HR Head. Backed by India's largest internet company, Times Internet, ETMONEY is India's one of the fastest growing fintech startups moving to seek a leadership position in the space of online wealth management.

“HR Head Role for ETMONEY is a strategic role that directly contributes to the organization vision of building the best team in Fintech Investment and Wealth Management product space in India,” said Anita Bhatia, HR Head, ETMONEY.

Bhatia shares that ETMONEY is on a mission to simplify the financial journey of new age India and acquiring and developing talent that enables the fintech firm to achieve its mission will be extremely crucial. Hence, for Bhatia the focus would be on building the talent brand for ETMONEY to attract the best talent externally plus retain and grow talent internally.

Prior to ETMONEY, Bhatia was working as HR Director in Mastercard, where she spent more than a year. Before that she has also worked with British Telecom as Senior HRBP & Diversity Lead. She has also spent more than 4 years in American Express as Relationship Leader - Human Resources. Her role in Amex required her to manage and provide end to end HR solutions for business teams. As a Human Resources Business Partner, she has experience in enabling suitable HR solutions across the entire employee lifecycle.

Now, Bhatia is geared up to put all her experience and knowledge towards helping ETMONEY build a good talent brand with robust talent processes.

“There are immense expectations from the role given we are setting up strategic People Goals in the current year. It is imperative to have clarity and leadership alignment around key priorities for the organization and identification of top 3-5 top focus areas for human resources,” said Bhatia.

While Bhatia is positive and zealous about the future of talent at ETMONEY, there are some challenges she foresees.

“Need for speed to match demands of ever changing fintech space, high customer expectations, war for talent in the startup space and ROI on tech and talent investments are the three things to closely keep a watch on and HR agenda will center around these external and internal realities,” exclaimed Bhatia.

How she navigates through these challenges and builds an attractive talent brand for ETMONEY will be to look forward to.
