Ajay Mahajan will head the commercial and wholesale banking business of the soon-to-be-launched bank by infrastructure financier IDFC Ltd, the company said in a statement. Mahajan will be in charge of lending to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), mid-sized and large companies, transaction banking, treasury and investment banking, IDFC said in the statement.
