According to American research firm, Boston Analytics, more Indians were insecure about their jobs in June than in May. In its monthly Consumer Confidence Survey for the month of June, the firm found that as compared to May, 52 percent of the respondents were less secure about their jobs. For the month of May, the figure stood at 48 percent.
This revelation comes at a time when hopes of recovery were creating optimism in Job Markets in India. The survey included 10,000 respondents in 15 cities including major metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. However, despite the prevailing pessimism, larger proportions of respondents were hopeful, about the decrease in unemployment within next 12 months compared to May.
