After 3 years of stint with Twitter, Parminder Singh, quits as Managing Director for India, Southeast Asia, and MENA. He disclosed so, in a series of tweets, earlier in the day. 

Singh said in the Twitter that, ‘After leading Twitter in Asia's most exciting markets (India/SEA/MENA) for 3 yrs, time to move on to new passions.’ He also revealed that ‘INSEA (India & Southeast East Asia) region will now be managed by Maya Hari’. 

Maya Hari was previously managing Twitter’s Product Strategy & Sales for the Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa regions as Senior Director. 

He also added that, he has been working on leadership transition closely and will continue to do so over the next month. 

This news has come right after Twitter India head Rishi Jaitly’s announcement of leaving the company. 

Prior to Twitter, Singh has worked with Google as India's Business head for three years. He was leading company's Display Advertising business for the Asia Pacific region.

Parminder had joined Twitter from Google in November 2013.
