Former SriLankan Airlines CEO appointed chief financial officer of Jet Airways

Jalan Kalrock Consortium, the new proposed  promoters of Jet Airways, has appointed Vipula Gunatilleka as the chief financial officer (CFO). Gunatilleka, who was the chief executive officer of SriLankan Airlines until January 2022, will be taking charge from March 1.

Car-sharing platform Zoomcar has appointed Nirmal NR as their chief executive officer (CEO) for India. In his new role, Nirmal will be responsible for all aspects of growth, operations and customer experience for the company in India. Prior to this, he was the president for Growth and Marketplace at Zoomcar. 

Fintech company Zaggle names Paromita Deb Areng as CHRO

Hyderabad-headquartered SaaS financial technology company Zaggle on Friday named Paromita Deb Areng as its Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). In her previous role, Paromita was Group Lead– HR at pharmaceuticals company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where she anchored the HR agenda for global corporate functions across India, the US, Europe, Russia and CISR countries.

Madhuri Jain sacked in the BharatPe row, accused of ‘misappropriation of funds’

Amid the tensions within the  BharatPe leadership, the company sacked Co-Founder Ashneer Grover’s wife Madhuri Jain, who was operating as the Group Head of Controls of the company since 2018. The decision was made on account of the allegation against her regarding monetary fraud.
