GM names first woman CEO
Marry Barra, who works as the product development chief at General Motors was picked as the first ever woman CEO of the company. Barra, in fact, becomes the first ever woman chief of a major US car company. Barra will replace the current CEO, Dan Akerson, on January 15 2014. She joined the company in 1980.
