ING townhall eases staff fears on jobs

Guys, don't worry about your jobs, but be flexible. If you are given a different role, accept it. If you are moved to another city, take it up as an opportunity. This was the upshot of the message sent out to employees of ING Vysya Bank at a town hall meeting a day after the bank's merger announcement with another private sector lender, Kotak Mahindra Bank. The meeting, addressed by Uday Sareen, CEO-designate of ING Vysya, lasted for about half-anhour on Friday morning. Senior executives were later asked to allay fears of possible job losses among their team members.
