CIL offers VRS for non-technical women staff

Coal India introduced a voluntary retirement scheme for its non-technical female workers who cannot be employed in underground mines or night shifts under the law. The VRS scheme is called Coal India Special Female Voluntary Scheme and any female accepting the offer can nominate her son for appointment to the company. The VRS scheme is aimed to optimise manpower, according to CIL’s Chairman.
