Arundhati Roy and Indra Nooyi amongst world's 30 most inspiring women

As Forbes comes out with its legendary issue on World’s 30 most inspiring women, two renowned Indian women find a place for themselves in the coveted list. While activist and author Arundhati Roy is listed on the third position, Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo stands at the tenth position. The list also features others of their ilk from different walks of life such as Mother Teresa, author J. K. Rowling, media personality Oprah Winfrey (who sits proudly at the first position), US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton amongst others. Interestingly, Forbes Woman took to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to reach out to people to determine the most inspiring and motivating women in the world. US First Lady Michelle Obama, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, philanthropist Melinda Gates and actress Angelina Jolie also find a place for themselves in the prestigious list.
