After working with Flipkart for one year, the Chief Human Resource Officer, Smriti Singh, has stepped down from her role, suggests a media report

The senior HR leader was managing people, talent, rewards, and learning and development in the company. She joined the e-retailer in December last year when the post was vacant for nearly eighteen months. 

Her appointment came at a time when the organization and its subsidiaries, Myntra and Jabong were going through organizational changes initiated by Walmart after the acquisition.

Prior joining to Flipkart, Singh was working with Sony Pictures Network India as a Vice-President and HR Head. She started her career with Xerox. During her career, she has worked with diverse companies including Genpact and NBC Universal. And GE Healthcare, Asia Pacific. Smriti is an MBA from IMI, New Delhi and has a B.A in Psychology (Hons) from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi, India.
