In today’s competition for top talent, the organisation’s reputation as an employer is a key factor in whether a candidate will take up the job – or leave it. According to LinkedIn’s ‘Employer Brand Playbook: 5 Steps to Crafting a Highly Social Talent Brand’ investing in talent brand reduces cost per hire by up to 50 per cent and lowers turnover rates by 28 per cent and all the more the investment influences the conversation with candidates. The report further states that 91 per cent of the companies increased or at least maintained their talent brand investment in 2012 and 83 per cent of talent acquisition leaders say employer brand significantly impacts their ability to hire great talent.
