Employers demand for employees' competencies rising: Report

A Randstad report says that employers are making higher demand from their employees' competencies than five years ago and job requirements are likely to become even more demanding in the next 5 years. According to recruitment and HR services specialist Randstad's latest Workmonitor Survey, over the past five years job requirements have become very challenging in India and in the years to come it is expected to get even more demanding, a Financial Express report said.

A Randstad report says that employers are making higher demand from their employees' competencies than five years ago and job requirements are likely to become even more demanding in the next 5 years. According to recruitment and HR services specialist Randstad's latest Workmonitor Survey, over the past five years job requirements have become very challenging in India and in the years to come it is expected to get even more demanding, a Financial Express report said.

In India, 91 per cent of the surveyed employees believe that employers make higher demand on their employees' competencies than five years ago. This is a little higher than the world average of 86 per cent. The survey further noted employers consider employees' social skills (87 per cent), digital skills (90 per cent), education and refresher courses (88 per cent) and experience (88 per cent) to be more important now than five years ago, the report added.
