Rajiv Bansal, who has recently won an arbitration award against Infosys that allowed him to claim the entire Rs 17.38 crore of severance pay that was granted to him when he quit the company may now join US IT services firm DXC Technology as Senior VP and Head of Finance, Americas.

DXC that currently employs 42,000 people in India out of over 1.3 lakh employees globally is the IT services company that came into existence after the merger of CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation) with the services business of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) in 2016.

The US-based IT firm has new business mandates to move ahead in their business and strengthen their position. The rich experience that Bansal will bring in the company will help it in this growth journey.

Bansal has about 25 years of experience and has worked with companies like ABB, Infosys and most recently, Ola. In Infosys, he spent about 16 years and held key positions as CFO and advisor to the CEO and board. He even became the center of controversy at Infosys with his high severance pay.

In 2015 he moved to the ride-hailing service provider, Ola. But left the company in a year or so.

Ever since then Bansal has been in news for his battle with Infosys. Now as he wins the case he is ready for the next phase of his career which starts with DXC.
