E-commerce company Tata Cliq’s CEO Vikas Purohit resigned from his position, as per media reports. The announcement was made at a recent board meeting of the company.

Purohit is likely to join a leading multinational in a non-competing sector to head its India business. However, the former Tata Cliq CEO has not confirmed the same.

Vikas Purohit, who has vast experience in the e-commerce and fashion retail market, joined Tata Cliq in November 2016. Prior to this, he was associated with Amazon India and Paytm. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
