The skills of young talent are not too differentiated from one another. Its an investment that an organisation makes to buy and groom talent and ensure that the purchase works. Recruitment is a logistics challenge.

It is difficult to differentiate between the skills of fresh and young talent because their skills need to b groomed to make them useful. If an organisation is considering too many fresh candidates for individual positions, then its a failure on the part of the recruitment team. Rather than glorifying talent management as a higher order strategic business challenge, it makes sense to treat recruitment as a logistics issue and consider that all the rules of supply chain apply. The organisation should own the responsibility to make talent useful after recruiting them.
