Shine.com has announced the appointment of Amardeep Vishwakarma as its Chief Technology Officer, who was formerly the VP-Engineering at Naukri.com. With over 13 years of recruitment industry experience, Amardeep is planning to transform Shine’s existing products and services both for candidates and recruiter by leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning. 

Amardeep comes to Shine.com after spending a major chunk of his career at online job portal Naukri.com, where he assumed various technology-centric roles over the course of his prolific career. At the organization, he single-handedly built several open-source projects along with the company’s flagship cloud-based recruitment software (RMS). 

Commenting on Amardeep’s appointment, Shine.com, CEO, Zairus Master said, “We are pleased to have an industry veteran such as Amardeep on board with us. One of our major goals this year is to tap the power of AI and machine learning in order to further streamline search results and increase customer satisfaction. We want to enhance the recruiter experience of finding the right candidate through better matching as well as enable jobseekers to spend lesser time and effort in their journey towards finding the right company. Amardeep comes on board at an opportune time when we are actively refining and enhancing the technological intricacies of our products.” 

Amardeep said, “Shine.com’s technological solutions have already been supporting the recruitment industry for many years. Together with my new team, I will now look at recreating its existing solutions to cater to the diverse needs of a larger target audience.” 

He plans to keep the company moving forward with agility and speed, marching on the shoulders of ever-evolving technologies.
