As per the latest media report, blockchain jobs are in demand because of the rising interest in cryptocurrency. As per the leading internet job portal, Indeed, there has been an increase in the search of cryptocurrency but also the number of blockchain related job postings.
"In the six months to November 2017, the number of cryptocurrency and blockchain jobs posted on the Indeed website rose by 290 percent. In the same period, job searches with keywords related to cryptocurrency/blockchain also rose by 52 percent," Indeed said.
According to Sashi Kumar, the Managing Director of Indeed India, the market globally for blockchain related products is going to USD 7.7 billion dollars in 2022, and which according to him is indicative of even further job creation in the future.
Blockchain development, as of today, is fast becoming an option favored by people because of the advantages it offers. The use of blockchain technology ranges from applications like monetary transactions, legal documentation, and many others.
Though the government of India, as of now, has refused to recognize cryptocurrencies as legal tender in India, the government is proactively trying to understand blockchain technology. According to the report by Indeed, this could further indicate the development of a truly digital economy.
