Mohit Batta, Group Vice President and Chief of Operations (Enterprise Services) Reliance Jio has stepped down from his role. After working with the company for more than five years he has decided to move on from his role, reported a media website

He will start his new innings with Standard Chartered Bank, Global where he will lead digital products for retail banking for all the countries. Batta joined Reliance Jio in 2014 and was amongst the key leaders who led Jio's launch in the Indian market. In his role, he was leading enterprise services for creating a world-class digital interface and managing Jio enterprise business operations.

With more than two decades of experience in the Telecom and FMCG sector and is famous for launching Unilever’s global product Pureit, back in the year 2006. He led the acquisition and merger of Yu Essar Telecom (Kenya), Warid Telecom (Uganda and Congo Brazaville) with Airtel, and launch of greenfield Rwanda business for Airtel Africa.
