CHRO movement: Leadership change in January 2024

Several seasoned human resource professionals with a proven track record stepped into pivotal roles at various companies. These HR leaders have joined new organisations with a wealth of expertise. They are poised to drive transformative initiatives, foster a dynamic workplace culture, and contribute to the continued success of their new organisation.

Brijitha Prasanth: Ascendion 

US-based IT service management firm Ascendion, appointed Brijitha Prasanth as the Head of Human Resources to oversee people and culture at its global talent centre in Bangalore.

She is equipped with a wealth of experience encompassing HR business partnering, talent acquisition, total rewards, HR operations, and automation, organisation development interventions, HR analytics, change management, post-M&A integration, employee engagement, talent retention, culture and employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and employer branding.

Rueben Das: Interocean Group 

New Delhi-based ship catering company Interocean Group has hired Rueben Das as the head of human resources. He has joined the company from RoadCast Technologies, a telematics and delivery automation SaaS platform. 

Sunder Natarajan: IndiaFirst Life Insurance

IndiaFirst Life Insurance appointed Sunder Natrajan as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Before being named as CHRO, Natarajan worked with the company as chief risk officer. In his new role, Natarajan is responsible for talent management, performance management, and organisation development. Additionally, he takes care of training, infrastructure, and procurement.

Shiv Rawat: V-Trans

After serving DTDC Express for more than 27 years, Shiv Rawat joined V-Trans as the Chief Human Resources Officer. Shiv began his association with DTDC in 1996 as the Vice President and Head of HR, he played a crucial role in shaping the organisation's culture with a focus on the future of work. His core competencies include HR Policies, Recruitment, Talent Retention and Development, Compensation, Performance Management, and Career Progression. 

Amit Sharma: Bajaj Finance 

Bajaj Finance appointed Amit Sharma as the new HR head for its microfinance business. This is Sharma’s second stint with the finance company. Previously, he worked with Bajaj Housing Finance as a national head HR partner.

Ravi Sinha: PCBL 

Philips Carbon Black Limited (PCBL) appointed Ravi Sinha as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) after Sabyasachi Bhattacharya, moved as the Vice President of Corporate HR within the group in September 2023. Sinha joined PCBL from Kirloskar Brothers Limited where he worked as Vice President & Head - Corporate HRM & Communications for almost 11 years.

Ritesh Pratap Singh: Tata Projects

Tata Projects, a sustainable technology-led engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, elevated Ritesh Pratap Singh to the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO). As CHRO, he is part of the leadership team that is pursuing the vision of delivering predictable and sustainable projects through innovation and technology.

Puneet Rajput: Piramal Pharma

Piramal Pharma hired Puneet Rajput as the new chief human resources officer. Punnet, an experienced human resources leader with rich and diverse experience in Pharma, Telecom, Life Sciences, and Consulting industries and multi-cultural environments, has joined Pitamla Pharma from Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Neetika Bhatia: HDFC Securities 

HDFC Securities, the stock-broking division of India's largest private-sector bank, HDFC Bank, appointed Neetika Bhatia as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, she will focus on enhancing the organisation's employer brand. With more than 17 years of experience, she comes with a diverse background in various aspects of human resources, including strategic HR advisory, leadership, and talent development, as well as rewards, spanning the banking and IT sectors in both Mumbai and Singapore.

Govindraj MK: Myntra

Fashion e-commerce platform Myntra has appointed Govindraj MK, an experienced HR Leader with 25 years of experience across multiple high-growth organisations and multi-geography, as its new CHRO. Govindraj has replaced Nupur Nagpal as Myntra’s CHRO.

Akansha Sriram: Kotak Mahindra Bank

Kotak Mahindra Bank has appointed Akansha Sriram as VP-HR. She has joined Kotak Mahindra Bank from Piramal Capital and Housing Finance Limited. DHFL, Network 18 Media and Investment, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, and Jet Airways are other organisations where she worked previously in various roles.

Nisha Srinivasan: GE Healthcare 

GE Healthcare, a global medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics, and digital solutions innovator, has elevated Nisha Srinivasan as chief human resources officer for India and South Asia.
