Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic, uniquely positioned as a cable-to- cloud service provider and an end-to-end IT services and solutions provider plans to expand their workforce by 20 percent by hiring about 1000 employees this year. 

In an exclusive interaction with People Matters, Shradha Puri, Associate Head- HR, Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic shares, “Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic is accelerating at a very fast pace.

We would be increasing our workforce by 20% this year. Our focus is on hiring people who can learn quickly and contribute to the growth of the company. The candidates should fit in as soon as possible and display positive attitude, integrity and multi-tasking skills.

For hiring, the company is targeting tier 2 colleges, and are focusing on a structured program for campus hires. Puri shares, “The process will be to select colleges with specialized technical courses where the criteria will be focusing on knowledge and skill set of the candidates. Our scrutinizing process is very stringent, we only want people who can multi-task and contribute to the growth of the company.”

As reported in People Matters earlier, last year the company launched a new talent management program with a slew of women-centric policies. This year the company aims to increase the percentage of women members to percent. Puri shares, “Currently our percentage is around 12% but our mission is to increase the percentage of women members to 20% in this year itself.  Encouraging more female leadership is one of the levers for increasing gender equality in the workforce. Ultimately, if we are to get there, it will require men and women, at all levels, to embrace and promote diversity and inclusion. As an organization, we are taking many initiatives to encourage women retention and improve the ratio.
